When online casino games (i.e. slot games) pays out $1,200.00 or more of gross winnings:
- FanDuel Casino/StarDust Casino will report these winnings to the customer on an IRS Form W-2G on or before the applicable statutory due date, with a separate W-2G form completed for each wager that meets the above thresholds.
- FanDuel Casino/StarDust Casino are not required to withhold from winnings for any of our current online casino games.
In both cases, W-2G forms are generated automatically when the subscriber meets the applicable federal and/or state reporting criteria. Likewise, W-2G withholding is triggered automatically when the subscriber meets the applicable federal and/or state withholding criteria. Any such withholdings will be reported on the Form W-2G(s) provided to the customer.
Copies of all Form W-2Gs are sent to the IRS and to the applicable state taxing authorities as required by law.
